Nobody realized Jai was dead at first because she'd been buried in a pile of college work for a while. However, she usually came out for breakfast and today she didn't. They thought she was just busy at first, but decided to check anyway before cleaning up the remaining food.
Jai, Citizen, lurked around as a ghost, frustrated that she'd spent her last moments studying. All of her notebooks and papers were burned as part of the pyre though, so that was actually quite frustrating since she worked hard on those notes.

Oh btw, day ends when one of the following happens:
1. Vote is unanimous.
2. Raven gives up.
3. If no one has unvoted by 12 hours from when the majority is reached (slash when I wake up tomorrow morning). If someone unvotes but there's still a majority it will be 24 hours (so 5:16 pacific time tomorrow) before it locks
I think that's pretty consistent with my somewhat inconsistent way of deciding when the day ends (tbh I usually just end the day when I'm reasonably sure the outcome won't change but it needs to be more consistent than it is?)
