On second thoughts, I don't think it's at all profitable to not kill anyone, though. It gives people one more day to get onto you and means it takes you longer to complete your objective.

I won't be on much because everything I said last game lead to me being hung.
But I have something to ask. How does the doctor heal people? do they have to say the name of who to heal or to they just be like "heal the person that got stabbed tonight" or something?
They have to say who they heal without knowing who will be attacked. If they could just say "heal whoever the Mafia kill", it'd be a very OP role.
Right ok, was wondering. It would be really difficult if they had to guess who to kill. If there a limitation on how many people the doctor can heal on the game? you said the survivor has 2 vests, if they used one last night they're down to one but I don't really think it was and if it was the surviver that stopped the attack last night, the mafia knows who it is so in another 2 rounds they'll be dead. Unless the doctor heals them
No limits to how many people the doctor can heal. As long as they keep guessing who the mafia's going to kill, they can heal people as often as they want.
They are limited to only one self-heal though.
And the survivor isn't necessarily doomed if the Mafia figures out who they are. The survivor isn't on either side. The Mafia's goal is to kill everyone on the town side, and since the survivor isn't on the town side, the Mafia don't have to kill them to win. However, they could quite possibly do so anyway, depending on how the survivor sides voting-wise, and depending on whether or not they believe someone who says they're the survivor is actually a more powerful town role trying to hide.
Unless of course the Mafia moves onto a different person to kill.

@Gemma: Not necessarily. If I were the Mafia and I'd tried to kill the Survivor last night, I'd go after someone else tonight. Firstly bevause anyone else is an easier target - why spend two nights killing one Survivor when you can spend two nights killing two cops? - and secondly because the Survivor can't investigate me or find out anything about me or heal anyone. The Survivor is actually the player that provides the least amount of threat to me.
So yeah, I'd like to be the Survivor right now. :P

@Gemma They don't know. If they don't self-heal on night 43 and the Mafia decides to kill them on night 43 (not that there will be a 43), they die. The role is meant more to emphasize healing others, they just have one self-heal in case they feel they need it.

Keiron's internet is fucking up which is preventing him from commenting. So he said that he investigated Lavender and got unsuspicious. So already, either Keiron, Jaimie or you Star, are lying. As there can't be 3 possibly Naive cops. Unless Fabi has added more than one of one kind of cop.

Additionally, the first rule of Mafia is that we don't talk about Mafia outside of the Mafia blog! Things like "hey dude, check my most recent post in Mafia" are okay, and you can always email Fabi the admin about the game, but anything else will be considered cheating. Absolutely no emailing people your roles or discussing strategy outside of the game. There's only one mafioso, so there won't be a night chat this game.

The thing is, it gives you no advantage. People can lie just as easily outside of the game as inside the game, so it can't give you an advantage unless you literally forward each other your role emails (please tell me you didn't do that). And it makes it a lot harder on the host, and it can be unfair to other players, and yeah.

Literally everyone is claiming to be a cop, so while claiming a role over Skype is not cool, it doesn't affect the game hugely
It also sounds like this happened out of ignorance of the rules rather than intentional cheating. I also am partially responsible, since I didn't post the "first rule of Mafia" in this game. However, Gemma was in the last game, so she really ought to have remembered. Either way, you're both very much aware of the rules now. No discussing strategies outside of the proper places to do so.
I'm also imposing a small penalty, nothing beyond what's fair. If you're telling the truth and are both cops, you won't be able to go through with your plan of investigating each other for the next two nights, though you can investigate anyone else in the game. If either of you is the doctor, you won't be able to heal the other. If either of you is part of the Mafia, you won't be able to kill the other, though you could get your fellow mafioso to do it, unless you are both Mafiosi. (I'll note for everyone's benefit that the Mafiosi only share a day chat, not a night chat) If you're the coroner or survivor, you won't be affected.

•Four people investigated me and I'm currently half and half based on their results. But all of them could be lying because they could be either of the five who aren't cops.
•All but three have investigated people who came up as unsuspicious. But there could only be three real cops with that result.
•The three who got suspicious results could also be the three cops, or they could also be lying.
•There is currently less than two hours left of the day phase.
Conclusion? I vote we skip day and wait till we get more answers.

Also, adding that either all the ones who got suspicious are cops, or two of them are among the other five and are lying.
But wait...
If that's the case, then /some people/ could be lying about what kind of cop they are??

I'm just trying to focus on the five who could be lying so it's confusing me a lot.

If you guys start planning, then I'll go with it. But I think most of the UKers are sleeping, so I think it'll be another free for all until the next day phase.
