Okay so I am the coroner. Dugglyn's last action was to kill Alastair before she died so the other maf has been doing the weird/cool action thus far. Maybe that's how they knew there was a coroner, there could be a consig?
And why didn't Trip remember Trigger Happy like he said, was there a rule against it or....?
There is no rule against remembering the Trigger Happy. The choice was entirely the amnesiacs own.

I remembered Doctor and saved Star!
Basically, if I said I'd remember trigger happy I knew I was safe, we all knew Star was Detective. I did actually plan to go trigger happy, but then I realised that they'd just kill Star and I'd be left as a regular citizen. So I protected Star and we're all still alive!
In any case, for pretending to be me, Arc must die :P
