As they walked down the hallway, the shadows seemed to reach out. Time for a mental cello solo.
The figure in the scarf didn't know that they stabbed Taia, Prime Detective at exactly the moment her mental cello hit the final dramatic note. Or did they? After all no one knew how much Mevolent could be capable of.
Mevolent sat by where Taia had fallen. Her blood was a very lovely shade of scarlet. They removed their scarf and dipped it in.
"A scarf dyed with the blood of my enemies. Perfect. It's a pity I can't wear it in public. Soon. Soon they'll all be dead and I'll be wearing a scarf."

I definitely think it's someone who is experiened, or that one of them is someone who is experienced, but it could be someone who has done their research too however I feel like that is less likely.
Look, I know Kaden, and in my gut, there's just something off about the way he's playing, idk, he might be busy though. He probably is busy, but right now, if I was forced to pick someone, I'd probably choose Kaden or Fay, but Kaden over Fay, if that makes sense. But like maybe Sil too, like I don't know, but you;re trying to read a lot into the situation, but then again, my brain right now is just looking for things that make people suspicious, so I could do that for everyone. At the end of the day, I'd hunch a bet on Kaden.

I mean, you all think I'm intelligent enoguh not to do that, right? (I hope). In fact, if I said that, I mgith actually have to avoid killing Dugg just because I'd said that.
Also, I find it hard to believe that I'm not the only one who thinks killing Dugg would be a good idea. She's a good player. :P Although in fairness, you all are. If I was the Mafia, it'd be really hard to work out who to kill because I'd just be like "arghhh there's so many skilful people to get rid of!"
I would like to mull over who would and wouldn't be best to kill now, but I don't want to give the real Mafia any ideas. XD
Also, I'd liek to point out, Noelle, that Jai does stategise and logicise (that . . . is not a word, but um, you probably know what I mean) a lot in these games . . . it doesn't necessarily make her suspicious.
Also, despite the fact that Raven has been lying, she is not necessarily the Mafia. She could be the roleblocker and not want to say. *shrugs*

Star may, of course, have been trying to use reverse psychology. Star would argue that Star isn't comfortable/practised enough with lying to go very intricately into it, and that Star, if she were the Mafia, would much rather kill someone who wasn't Dugglyn just to avoid this kind of complicated lying.
However, Star doesn't blame Noelle for suspecting Star.

Really though, I'm not sure why you're all so suspicious of me . . . I mean, what have I ACTUALLY done? I said I'd be likely to kill Dugglyn, but like, seriously, now I'm the Mafia because I said that it would be profitable to get rid of a good member of the opposition?

What have I done that makes me ANY more suspicious than Raven?? I think most of this might just be psycological. When Raven said "I'm an Elemental," your thoguhts were "oh okay." When I said the same thing, because of the different context of the situation, your thoguhts were "AHHH THERE'S A MAFIA ABOUT." I'm treated as suspicious from the offset, whereas your inital opinion of Raven was innocence, and that alters your perspective: it's hard to get rid of these influences.
In all honestly, telling you my role was a TERRIBLE idea just because of this. I mean, I guess it helped to try and out the Mafia, but tbh what'll probably happen is I'll end up getting hung whereas if I'd said nowt you mightg've all hung Kaden, and whilst Kaden might be totally innocent, at least hanging a potential innocent is better than hanging a DEFINITE innocent (from my perspective).
Honestly, I mostly told you because I can't get rid of my incessant desire to be honest. That's what screwed me up the game I said I was a cop, you know. I was like "Well, I could say I'm a cop, but I could not, but they might want to know what's happening to me so it could benefit them to know I was a cop, so let's just tell them I'm a cop." In hindsight, I should have thoguht a bit more deeply into it, but I didn't, and because of that the Mafia very nearly won. Apparently I've made the same bloody mistake this game with telling you I'm an Elemental. Most frustrating. Next game I might have to have a half-hour chat with myself weighing up pros and cons before I tell you my role. :P
The more I try to persuade you guys the more I feel like I'm pretending to be the Mafia and it's really damn hard (I think Jai and Dugglyn will know about this from last game XD), so maybe I should just, idk, not talk, but dude. Seriously. Don't hang me. I really want to be able to say "ya idjits I told you not to hang me" when I'm dead and proven to be innocent, but I think I want to win the game more than I want that. So um. Please don't hang me.
Some announcements--
1. Kaden, you have until 10 PM by this blog's time stamp to comment at least once, or you're out of the game. Sorry, but this is a game that doesn't work if people don't participate.
2. Mafia members, I have left you a little note on your night chat.
3. There are two deadlines. The day ends at 10 PM, but the 24-hour trial phase ends at 6:19 AM tomorrow. The current plan is to end the day this evening, but Star has the right to a full trial phase if she decides she wants one. She can make this decision any time before 10. I will probably not be awake at 6, but I will write all possible outcomes tonight so I can post the appropriate one as soon as I wake up.
4. As with the previous trial phase, you can change your vote to anyone with at least one strike. So if Star succeeds in convincing people she's innocent, the only other option to hang is Kaden, who currently has two votes. Everyone else is safe for the day.
